“Avatar” actress Zoe Saldana says she believes fashion is an “art form” and so she puts a lot of effort into picking out her outfits.
The actress, who once launched a clothing line with her sisters and has a fashion database website myfdb.com with her fiance Keith Britton, loves taking time to put an outfit together as she knows it’s important to get the right look, reports contactmusic.com.
“Five years ago my sisters and I created our own brand, called Arasmaci, but we actually produced no more than a few T-shirts and some accessories because I became overwhelmed by ‘Avatar’,” she said.
“For many people, including a lot of actresses, fashion is all about brand names, logos, status symbols, but for me, it’s an art form,” she added.
Saldana also said that part of her job is to look good but she would never wear anything that made her look “cheap”.
“My body is my office, you might say. Half the job of someone in showbusiness is creating an attractive image. And for me, that doesn’t mean becoming a cheap sex symbol,” she said.

Daniel Radcliffe has said that “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” will “shake some people up”.
The 21-year-old actor, who recently finished filming the final two movies of the wizard film franchise, admits he believes scenes where his titular character finds himself close to death after being beaten up by his arch-nemesis Voldemort will be difficult for some fans to watch, reports contactmusic.com.
“Voldemort does absolutely kick six bells out of me, and that’s what makes it effective, the fact that Harry’s a kid (and) having beaten out of him. If it’s Voldemort killing an adult – well, he does that loads in the films,” said Radcliffe.
“To see him brutalising and desperately trying to kill a 17-year-old boy is hopefully going to shake some people up,” he added.
Radcliffe gets giant artwork on birthday

Daniel Radcliffe’s “Harry Potter” co-stars designed a giant piece of artwork as a 21st birthday present for the actor.
The British actor, who plays the titular wizard character in the film franchise, is thrilled by the giant canvas he was given for his 21st birthday, despite the limited creative prowess of his co-stars, reports imdb.com.
“For my birthday this year, the idea was to get a lot of the people in the cast and crew to contribute some art and it was going to be a masterpiece! I’m not sure it is, but I love it because I know everyone on it,” he said.
Radcliffe has played the iconic character since 2001.
Johnson is a wonderful man, says Jessica Simpson

Singer Jessica Simpson is quite happy with her new beau, footballer Eric Johnson, and describes him as a wonderful man.
Usmagazine.com reports Simpson posted a photo of herself with Johnson on microblogging site Twitter and wrote, “I met a wonderful man.. Damn I’m lucky!”
And Simpson’s sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is happy for her too.
“She is happy, so we are all really happy. Her happiness is the most important thing to me,” said Ashlee, who insists her sister isn’t in any rush to settle down with Johnson.
Paris Hilton burglary suspect pleads not guilty

A man accused of breaking into the home of Paris Hilton armed with knives pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted burglary.
Nathan Parada, who entered the plea in a Los Angeles court on Friday, was arrested on August 24 outside the socialite”s house, reports the Mirror.
Hilton was at home when Parada allegedly banged on windows.
She posted a photo of his arrest on her Twitter feed and described the incident as “scary”.
Parada is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on September 15.
Kelly Brook poses in ”breast uplift” bra

The bra promises to deliver the same results as having a breast uplift operation.
Brook has boosted her assets with what is claimed to be the world”s most technologically advanced bra.
The brunette is pictured modelling its effects, which are listed as uplifting the wearer”s chest and “reshaping and contouring” the breast to perfection.
This is achieved by the bra”s “complex web of microscopic fibres concealed in the compressed foam and the secret in-built Icon sling that propels the breast upwards,” the Mirror quoted an Ultimo spokeswoman as saying.
Michelle Mone, the bra”s creator, said it was so comfortable and lightweight that women would not even know they were wearing it.

Beyonce Knowles has admitted that her worst habit is being untidy.
The singer, who is married to hip-hop mogul Jay-Z, has confessed that her love of clutter is her worse habit but she would love to change her untidy ways.
“I promise I”m working on this, but I could be less messy at home and keep the clothes in my closet and off the floor,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
The 28-year-old beauty also admits she is a workaholic and can”t stop thinking about her career, even during her time off.
She explained to Self magazine: “I love going to dinners, seeing plays, visiting museums and spending time with family and friends. I know it”s time to jump back into my work when everything I do starts inspiring lyrics and melodies and I can”t keep myself out of the studio.”
Maggie Gyllenhaal to star in film about invention of vibrator

Maggie Gyllenhaal is all set to play the lead role in the ‘Hysteria’.
The Hollywood actress, 32, is said to have agreed to star in the new Victorian-era romantic comedy telling the story of the invention of the vibrator.
She will star alongside Jonathan Pryce and Rupert Everett.
“I play a firecracker whose father is a doctor who is in the business of curing hysterical women. He cures them basically by getting them off and that actually happened,” the Telegraph quoted her as saying.
“I end up having a sort of unexpected love affair with this guy who works for him, and who by mistake invents the vibrator,” she added.
The film, to be directed by Tanya Wexler, will commence production in October in London and Luxembourg, and is scheduled for release in 2011.
Lindsay Lohan Won’t Face Early Death: Her Mother Believes

Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s mother, has recently revealed to the press that the life of her daughter will come back to norm after she completes her 90-day treatment in rehab. The woman is sure that the Hollywood actress won’t face an untimely death. It is known that the star of Mean Girls was sentenced to jail this summer for her probation violation after 2007 arrest.
Instead of 90 days, the star served only 13 days in jail before she was transferred to a rehabilitation centre located in California. According to a court order, the star will have to spend 90 days in that medical facility where she is already being treated for drug addiction.
But Dina claims that the 24-year-old star is doing her best to rebuild her career and life in general and will definitely succeed in it if the paparazzi get off her back.
Contactmusic.com reproduced Dina’s words when she declared that she didn’t have a crystal ball and couldn’t foresee her precious daughter dying young.
Lindsay’s mother also adds that the actress will move back to New York after her 90-day treatment in rehab comes to an end. That will be done by the star in order to avoid Hollywood pressures.
Cheryl Cole and Her Dancer Partner Derek Hough Have Romantic Relations

Tabloids have been spreading rumors that there are romantic relations between Derek Hough and his dancer partner Cheryl Cole that have been lasing for months, despite the fact that they continue to assure everyone that they are “just good friends.”
Brian Friedman, X Factor choreographer, has recently confirmed that these young people are actually a couple.
Brian had plenty to say after he met both of them in Los Angeles where Cheryl had a bout of malaria and Derek was staying by her side.
He told the Daily Mirror that he had been in touch with Derek and Cheryl since they had been over in Los Angeles. According to him, he is really very close with this couple. Brian finds them amazing and thinks that they have made a good couple. All that he could add is that Derek and Cheryl are incredibly happy at the moment.
It was obvious judging by a number of occasions that Derek was sincerely devoted to Cheryl. He supported his star girlfriend when she was coping with malaria, and was always by her side after her break-up and divorce from her husband – Ashley Cole.
