Singer Jennifer Hudson and fiance David Otunga, who have been busy finalising details for their wedding, are now focusing on arranging a holiday after the ceremony.

“The wedding is coming up. We have finalised most of the details and have some idea about the honeymoon,” contactmusic.com quoted David as saying.

While Jennifer is keeping plans for her dress secret from David, the professional wrestler is delighted about the wedding wardrobe of his seven-month-old baby boy.

“I am getting him a custom-made tuxedo to match mine. I can’t wait to see him in it, looking sharp like a little grown man!” he added.

Singer Jennifer Hudson is said to be leaving no stone unturned to make make her wedding an occasion to remember.

Hudson’s wrestler fiance David Otunga had recently confirmed that they have fixed a date but refused to divulge any more details, although he said that his bride-to-be has already chosen her gown.

“She won’t tell me much about that, obviously,” contactmusic.com quoted him as saying.

Otunga also has revealed that jeweller Neil Lane is working on their wedding rings, adding: “He made our engagement rings and he’s a personal friend as well.”

While he says that he has no big plans for the wedding, Otunga would like his new wife to serenade him.

“It would be wonderful to have Jennifer sing. I’d love that,” he added.

Singer/actress Jennifer Hudson has been roped in to play the lead role in a new film ‘Winnie’, which is about the former wife of South Africa’s first black president, Nelson Mandela.

The film will be directed by Darrell J. Roodt and the production will begin on May 30 in the South African locations of Johannesburg, Capt Town, and the Transkei and Robben Island where Nelson spent 18 of his 27 years in prison.

The script is based on the Anne Marie du Preez Bezdrob biography “Winnie Mandela:A Life.”

While Nelson Mandela is a universally sympathetic figure for his struggle against apartheid, his former wife has been a complicated figure.

She has been depicted as the mother and wife who was a steadfast supporter of her activist husband and who was jailed herself for campaigning for his release and fighting against apartheid.

Her image was subsequently tarnished by association with a bodyguard who murdered a 14-year old alleged informer, and she was later convicted of fraud.

“I was compelled and moved when I read the script,” Variety magazine quoted Hudson as saying.

“Winnie Mandela is a complex and extraordinary woman and I’m honoured to be the actress asked to portray her. This is a powerful part of history that should be told,” she added.
