It has become known that not so long ago Madonna together with Lourdes “Lola” Leon, her stylish daughter, launched their personal clothing line under the title Material Girl. As Taylor Momsen, “Gossip Girl” star and the face of this new brand, says, this star pair prove to be extremely hands on.

For an interview with Material Girl Clothing Taylor said that Lola was there all day. The girl worked with Taylor to put the outfits together and she helped style the shoot. The star added that she found the girl a sweetheart. She continued that Madonna arrived a little bit later and behaved down to earth that looked totally awesome.

Taylor also unveiled that Madonna even helped her style the clothing shoot.
Taylor said that Madonna put everything into her own vibe: she positioned everything and re-did everything to fully suit her taste. Taylor Momsen believes that everything went well and that they had an extremely good working relationship.

The actress is psyched to become the face of Material Girl. In her opinion, the clothes and Madonna herself are awesome. It was also an awesome experience for her to work with Madonna.

Madonna has reportedly been cited for noise pollution by authorities in London.

The Queen of Pop has received an official warning from council officers after staff at her London home upset neighbours by staging a noisy party.

Although the star herself was out of the country at the time, as the property”s listed owner, she was nonetheless issued with a noise abatement order.

The 51-year-old singer was warned that any further offence could land her with a 5,000 pounds fine.

Westminster City Council said the case is unlikely to go to court, but warned that any further offences could see Madonna summoned to appear before magistrates.

””We take the issue of noise pollution very seriously and treat every case alike and fairly, regardless of who owns the property concerned,” the Telegraph quoted Councillor Ed Argar, cabinet member for city management, as saying.

””Although we live in a busy city, we all have the right to live in a degree of peace in our homes and enjoy our precious free time.

””If people want to hold a party, regardless of the time of day or night, they need to show some common courtesy to their neighbours, who should not have to pay the price for others” selfish behaviour,”” Argar added.

Australian pop icon Helen Reddy has blasted Madonna for setting the wrong example for young girls who want to dress like her.

“The I Am Woman” hitmaker, who has retired from music since releasing her Grammy-winning hit in 1970, was left shocked during a recent shopping trip for innerwear as the store’s selection was too racy. And Reddy blames the Madonna for inspiring girls to dress like strippers.

“I was in London earlier this year, and… I go into the women’s lingerie department, and they’ve got pasties – you know, like strippers wear,” Reddy said.

“It is horrifying to me to see these little girls, you know…trying to imitate the latest video they’ve seen.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the British singer has scoffed at Reddy’s allegations saying that it was not Madonna’s fault if she couldn’t find appropriate innerwear, reports torontosun.com.

Pop diva Madonna’s 13-year-old daughter Lourdes has enrolled at a performing arts school and her classmates are upset because she is rumoured to have “an advantage”.

News of her enrolment at LaGuardia Arts school has already upset fellow students amid rumours she didn’t have to audition publicly to land a place.

“Lots of kids are talking about how she had an advantage,” aceshowbiz.com quoted a student as saying.

Lourdes will be joining the academy in September this year.

Pop diva Madonna is in Malawi for a charity tour with her four children, including David Banda and Mercy who are from the African nation.

Pop diva Madonna has announced to launch a range of clothes.

The 51-year-old singer is creating the range, named MG Icon, in a joint venture with her manager Guy Oseary and Iconix – the company behind designer lines Badgley Mischka and Candie’s, reports contactmusic.com.

“Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to the consumers is very exciting for me,” said Madonna in a statement.

“I look forward to working closely with Neil Cole of Iconix and his team to create and translate my vision and ideas for MG Icon,” she added.

Neil Cole said: “Madonna is a legend in the world of music, fashion and entertainment and now with her deep involvement in MG Icon, we will be able to leverage her vision into consumer products globally.”

“Our strategy is to introduce brands formed through the joint venture in multiple countries and organically expand worldwide,” he added.

The brand’s first project will be named after Madonna’s hit “Material girl” and will be a junior range with items costing between $12 and $40. Clothes will be on sale at Macy’s department stores from August.

Pop diva Madonna and Scottish star Gerard Butler had a dance-off at a post-Oscars party hosted by actress Demi Moore.

The “Material Girl” singer helped host the bash at manager Guy Oseary’s Los Angeles home following the prestigious ceremony Sunday night and couldn’t resist when the actor challenged her dancing skills, reports holly-wood.net.

The “4 Minutes” hitmaker,who will be directing the film, had revealed that she wanted British star David Tennant to play the monarch, but is said to have changed her mind, reports contactmusic.com.

Madonna has previously directed 2008 film “Filth and Wisdom”, which starred Richard E. Grant and Eugene Hutz, although she has served as a writer on documentary “I Am Because We Are”.
